Updates from the Indian Shooters at the World Championships in Shotgun 2009, Slovenia

Vikram Bhatnagar, August 4: The Indian team officially arrives into Slovenia on 4 August from Italy. All got acclimatization training today. PS Sodhi has joined the team in Slovenia. Ronjan Sodhi is in good form, he won the Grand Prix a couple of days ago. Marcello Dradi was training the shooters in Italy and will rejoin the team on 06 August.

Shreyasi Singh, August 4 : The team just reached Slovenia in the evening. Ronjan was here earlier for the Fiocchi Cup and he won the gold in double trap. Training is going fine. Mansher Singh who was also here won the bronze in trap. Range and all we shall go and see tomorrow.

Mairaj Khan, August 5: Our competition is on the 15th August. Arozepal, Allan Daniel Peoples and I are in the team for the men's skeet. The venue is good and of course we are shooting good these days.

Vikram Bhatnagar, August 7: Coach Marcello Dradi arrived today to oversee the official trap training. Shooters got their rounds as per schedule. All seem satisfied with the facilities. The gun manufacturers arrived today to showcase their wares. Perazzi, Beretta, RC Cartridges, Antonio Zoli Castellani have set up their stalls for repairs and sales.

Vikram Bhatnagar, August 12: The women's skeet and women's trap ended yesterday. The women skeet competitors looked more prepared than ever before, with better training under the new coach and the stint in Massari, Italy, the future for skeet also looks bright now. Double trap had official training and we all shot well in training. Sangram was very good today. All looks good for the match.
