Shooters of the Topgun Shooting Academy dominated proceedings at the NDDRA Open Shooting Championship 2023, bagging 13 medals at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.

15-year-old national shooter Udayan Chaudhuri stole the limelight winning four individual medals in various categories of the 10m air rifle events. Radhika Narang, who recently started shooting, registered 384/400 to bag the gold in women’s 10m air rifle while Para shooter Manish Thakran participating in his first ever competition won the gold in para men’s 10m air pistol.

The pistol shooters were not much behind winning five bronze medals.

11-year-old Ojasvi Narwal shot her personal best 351/400 to win a bronze in youth women’s 10m air pistol while national medallist Meenal Yadav took the bronze in youth women’s 10m Air Pistol.

“These are great results as most of these shooters are new to the sport and competed in their first ever shooting competition,” said Shimon Sharif, who was the first rifle shooter from Delhi to represent India at the ISSF World Cup

The academy is managing multiple shooting ranges in Delhi-NCR and many of it’s shooters have won medals for the country at major international events.
