The Sports Development Authority Of Tamil Nadu is maintaining a Shooting Range at Tamilnadu Special Police III Battalion, Veerapuram in association with Police Department. The shooting range is located at Tamilnadu Special Police III Battalion, Veerapuram which is about 6 km from Avadi. Apart from this there are many other shooting clubs and academies in tamil Nadu. You may start with the 10 meter Air Rifle or Air Pistol. It is not very expensive and there are no licensing requirements for these two events. All the best.
