    Selection Trials: Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil impresses in Air Rifle (2)

    Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil continued his good form in the ongoing selection trials in Thiruvananthapuram, winning the men’s 10m air rifle in the 2nd Trial after finishing second in the 1st Trial on Sunday.

    In the process, he reversed the result of the 1st Trial which was won by Kiran Ankush Jadhav.

    Rudrankksh shot 252.4 to beat Kiran by 1.8 point while Paarth Makhija finished third.

    Rudrankksh also surpassed the World Record by 0.6 on way to win the youth event with a score of 253.4. And so did Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, shooting 253.0 to win the junior event.

    Both the scores were higher than the current World Record of 252.8 being held by China’s Haonan Yu.

    Paarth took the second spot in the junior event while Deependra Singh Shekhawat finished third in both junior and youth events.
