Russia’s Sergey Kamenskiy is the only shooter to dethrone a 2016 Rio Olympic Champion and claim the top rank in any of the fifteen shooting events.
The 29-year-old shooter snatched the No. 1 spot the current Olympic champion Niccolò Campriani of Italy. Kamenskiy had recently won the gold at the ISSF World Cup Final in Bologna which helped him overtake Campriani, who didn’t compete in Bologna.
In all the remaining events, the No.1 spot was retained by the gold medallist from Rio Olympics.
United States’ Michael McPhail climbed from the 19th to the 5th place in the Men’s 50m Rifle Prone while Serbia’s Damir Mikec jumped up eleven to No. 4 in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol.
