Peter Sidi of Hungary was in red-hot form as he claimed the Gold medal in Men’s 10m Air Rifle at the Lapua IWK Berlin 2020.
Sidi shot a score of 633.5 which is equal to his own Qualification World Record and then registered 255.4 which is 2.6 points more than the World Record in the final. The Qualification World Record stands in Sidi’s name since 2013.
The two World Records will not be ratified as the ISSF only considers a select bunch of international competitions for that purpose.
Steffen H. Olsen of Denmark won the silver while Etienne Germond of France took the bronze.
