Topgun shooter Paarth Makhija wins Gold at Asian Championship

Topgun shooter Paarth Makhija won the gold medal in youth men’s 10m air rifle team at the ongoing 14th Asian Shooting Championship in Doha, Qatar.

Paarth, who has been trained by the Topgun Shooting Academy, topped the qualification with 625.6 but finished 7th in the final.

The 18-year-old Paarth teamed up with Rudrankksh Patil (620.7) and Srijay Ranjanbabu (624.7) to win the team gold with a score of 1871.0. The silver was won by China (1858.0) while Thailand (1806.6) took the bronze.
