Shooters of Topgun Shooting Academy dominated proceedings at the 35th Delhi State Shooting Championship, bagging twenty five medals, at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.

All participants training at the academy also qualified for the G.V Mavlankar All India Shooting Championship to be held at Ahmedabad in September.

Most notable performance was by Pratyush Aman Barik who won four medals. The 15-year-old Pratyush had also won the gold at the Delhi Inter School Shooting Championship held a day before the state meet.

“I am very happy with the performance of all our shooters and specially with the ones who competed in their first ever shooting competition,” said international shooter Shimon Sharif, who is mentoring the shooters of Topgun Shooting Academy.

“We follow a very systematic training plan for all our shooters and also have experts for fitness and mental training,” said Shimon.

Several shooters from the academy are part of the current national squad and have also won medals for the country.
