Abhinav Bindra won the bronze in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle in the International Shooting Competition of Hannover in Germany on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Bindra, preparing for his fifth Olympics, shot 626.1 (104.7,104.0,105.6,101.7,104.5,105.6) in the qualification and 184.5 in the finals to miss the silver by 0.1 point.

Heena Sidhu who shot an impressive qualification score of 388 to win the silver after shooting 199.1 in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol.
In the Women’s 10m Air Rifle, shooters from Iran Elaheh Ahmadi and Najmeh Khedmati dominated the finals and claimed the gold and silver medals respectively. India’s Ayonika Paul finished 6th while Apurvi Chandela finished 11th.
