    Mohd Asab finished 14th in the men’s double trap event at the ISSF World Cup in San Marino.

    The 28-year-old shooter from Meerut shot a score of 134 (25,29,27,26,27) which was highest among the Indians but 4 points short of making the cut for the finals.

    Ankur Mittal shot 132 (25,25,25,28,29) while Sangram Dahiya shot 131 (24,27,28,27,25) to be placed 22nd and 28th respectively in a field of 49 shooters.

    The gold was won by two-time World Champion Joshua Richmond of USA who beat Germany’s Andreas Loew by 29 to 28 hits. China’s Pan Qiang took the bronze.

    Meanwhile, in men’s trap Kynan Chenai and Prithviraj Tondaiman shot identical scores of 117 and missed the final by three points on Saturday. Former World Champion Manavjit Sandhu shot 115 to settle for the 38th place in a field of 119 shooters.
