A 24-member strong Indian shooting team, that includes the likes of teenage shooting stars Saurabh Chaudhary, Manu Bhaker, and Mehuli Ghosh, will be competing at the 11th Asian Airgun Championship in Kuwait which gets underway on Saturday.
Saurabh and Manu will be participating in the junior men’s and women’s 10m air pistol events respectively and will also pair up for the mixed event while Mehuli will be seen in action in the junior women’s 10m air rifle. The three have had a very fruitful year — winning medals at various international competitions –and they would be certainly looking at ending it year on a high note at the year’s last international competition.
The team also includes Olympian Apurvi Chandela and former World No. 1 in men’s 10m air pistol Shahzar Rizvi among others.
