Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar of Madhya Pradesh carried on his good form to claim the gold medal in the men’s 50m rifle three positions at the 12th Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Masters Shooting Championship in New Delhi.
The 18-year-old Aishwarya, who qualified with the third best score of 1166, shot 459.9 to take the top spot with a margin of 4.4 points.
The silver was won by two-time Olympian Sanjeev Rajput of Haryana while Parul Kumar of Air Force took the bronze.
However, Aishwarya was beaten to the junior gold by 1.2 point by Niraj Kumar of Navy.
Just a few days back, Aishwarya had won the gold with a junior world record of 459.3 at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany.
