    Two-time Olympian Sanjeev Rajput topped the Men’s 10m Air Rifle in the National selection trials being held at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi.

    Rajput’s score of 248.5 was just 0.1 more than Akhil Sheoran who finished 2nd. In the finals, Akhil was leading by 0.3 point before the last two shots, but a 9.8 pushed him to the second spot behind Rajput.

    Ranjeet Singh finished third with 226.5 while the National Champion Ravi Kumar who had topped the qualification with a score of 629.2 finished 7th.

    The Results:

    Men’s 10m Air Rifle: 1. Sanjeev Rajput 248.5 (628.5); 2. Akhil Sheoran 248.4 (625.2); 3. Ranjeet Singh 226.5 (623.7).

    Junior Men’s 10m Air Rifle: 1. Tejas Krishna Prasad 249.0 (619.0); 2. Divyansh Singh Panwar 247.8 (619.6); 3. Yash Vardhan 226.9 (620.8).
