Arjun Singh Cheema and Arshdeep Kaur of Punjab won the gold in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team as they beat Saurabh Chaudhary and Devanshi Dhama of Uttar Pradesh 17-15 in a thriller at the ongoing 64th National Shooting Championship in New Delhi.
While Ruchita Vinerkar and Arjun Das of Railways won the bronze beating Ravi Varma and Shri Nivetha of Tamil Nadu 16-8.
Olympians Manu Bhaker and Abhishek Verma of Haryana were placed sixth in the second stage of qualification, missing the chance to fight for a medal by four points.
Sarabjot Singh and Rhythm Sangwan of Haryana won the junior gold 16-8 against Saurabh and Devanshi. The bronze was won by Esha Singh and Kaushik Gopu of Telangana beating Priya and Gursimran Singh of Karnataka 16-6.
The youth gold also went to Haryana when brother-sister Narwal combination, Shiva and Shikha beat the Maharashtra pair of Tejas Dhere and Varidhi Goray 16-2. Devanshi and Manu Kumar took the bronze for Uttar Pradesh after they beat Manav and Vidhi of Gujarat 16-0.
