    Prime Minister wishes Indian shooters for their impressive performance at ISSF Junior World Cup

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate the Indian shooters who gave an impressive performance at the recently concluded ISSF Junior World Cup in Sydney, Australia.

    India won 22 medals, which included nine gold, five silver and eight bronze, to finish second behind China, who won 25 medals.

    In a series of tweets, the PM congratulated each of the nine shooters who won individual medals – Arjun Babuta, Elavenil Valarivan, Vivaan Kapoor, Manu Bhaker, Gaurav Rana, Anmol Jain, Anish Bhanwala, Muskan Bhanwala and Ganemat Sekhon – individually.

    Modi concluded by saying that the performance in Sydney will motivate many more youngsters to play more and excel.
