    Selection Trials: Chinki Yadav tops Women’s 25m Pistol (T3)

    Olympic quota winner Chinki Yadav of Madhya Pradesh won the Women’s 25m Pistol (T3) on the opening day of the 3rd and 4th selection trials in New Delhi.

    The 23-year-old Chinki qualified for the finals on the 4th place with a score of 579, two points behind the Asian Games champion Rahi Sarnobat of Maharashtra who shot the third best.

    Chinki started the finals with a perfect round of 5 and went on to register 37 hits to win the finals, 3 points ahead of Rahi.

    Manu Bhaker of Haryana, who shot the best qualification score of 582, finished 3rd with 30.

    Women’s 25m Pistol: 1. Chinki Yadav (Madhya Pradesh) 37 (579); 2. Rahi Sarnobat (Maharashtra) 33 (581); 3. Manu Bhaker (Haryana) 30 (582).
