    Owing to their impressive performance in the ongoing ISSF World Cup in New Delhi, India’s 10m Air Pistol shooters Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Abhishek Verma have moved to the number one position in the latest ISSF World rankings.

    On Sunday, Abhishek won the bronze medal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol while his compatriot Saurabh Chaudhary bagged the silver. On the other hand, Yashaswini bagged the gold in the women’s event while Manu Bhaker took the silver.

    Yashaswini and Abhishek also won the bronze in the Mixed 10m Air Pistol on Monday.

    Meanwhile, Elavenil Valarivan, who teamed up with Divyansh Singh Panwar to win the gold in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle, also retained her No 1 spot in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle, meaning three Indian shooters now hold the top spot.
