    Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have clinched their spot in the bronze medal match of the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team at the Paris Olympics. The Indian duo demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience, finishing with a combined score of 580 to secure their place in the final showdown.

    Manu Bhaker, who won India’s first medal of the Games with a bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol just yesterday, continued her strong performance. She started with impressive series of 98 and 98 before closing with a 95, totaling 291. Sarabjot, after a series of 95, made a strong comeback with two scores of 97, ending with a total of 289. Despite their strong performance, India’s total of 580 was one point behind Serbia and two points behind Türkiye, who topped the qualification with scores of 582.

    Sarabjot’s performance was also notable. He had lost out on an individal final spot and finished 9th on account of firing one less inner 10 on the opening day of the Games.

    Manu and Sarabjot will now face South Korea’s Jin Ye Oh and Wonho Lee, who qualified in 4th place with a score of 579, in the bronze medal match. Meanwhile, the gold medal match will feature Turkey’s Ilayda Sevval Tarhan and Yusuf Dikec, and Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec.

    The second Indian team of Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema were unable to progress to the medal match, finishing in 10th place with a score of 576. .
