Hosts Italy topped the medal tally 15 medals including 6 gold medals as the ISSF Shotgun World Championship which concluded in Lonato on Wednesday. USA came in second with 5 gold while India could not make it to the medal tally in this edition.
On the final day, reigning Olympic and World Champion Diana Bacosi of Italy equalled the world record of 58/60 to win the gold in women’s skeet.
The silver was won by Wei Meng of China with 53 hits while Sweden’s Victoria Larsson took the bronze.
