    ISSF World Cup: Ganemat Sekhon & Angad Vir Singh Bajwa win Gold in Mixed Skeet

    India Ganemat Sekhon and Angad Vir Singh Bajwa won gold medal in the mixed skeet at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in New Delhi.

    Ganemat and Angad, who had topped the qualification with a score of 141, produced another good show beating Kazakhstan pair of Olga Panarina and Alexandr Yechshenko 33-29 in the gold medal showdown.

    This is 20-year-old Ganemat third medal at this World Cup, having won bronze in women skeet and silver in the team event.

    Meanwhile, another Indian pair of Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Mairaj Ahmed Khan lost the bronze medal match 31-32 to Qatar Rashid Hamd and Reem Al Sharshani. The duo had produced a perfect score in the final four shots even as Parinaaz crumbled under pressure and missed a shot to miss out of the medal.
