    National Shooting: Rahi Sarnobat wins Gold in Women’s 25m Pistol

    Reigning Asian Games Champion Rahi Sarnobat of Maharashtra stamped her authority in Women 25m Pistol, winning her third successive national title on the concluding day of the 64th National Shooting Championship (Pistol) in New Delhi.

    The 31-year-old Rahi won the gold with a score of 37 (581) while the 14-year-old newly crowned Junior World Champion Namyaa Kapoor of Delhi won the silver with 31 (578).

    Manu Bhaker of Haryana, who was crowned the National Champion in 10m Air Pistol on Sunday, took the bronze with 25 (580).

    Namyaa did win the junior gold, getting the better of Manu 5-4 in a shoot-off after both tied with 30 hits.

    Esha Singh of Telangana, who won three medals in 10m Air Pistol on Sunday, took the bronze with 27 (582).
