Olympic quota winner Chinki Yadav upstaged the experienced Rahi Sarnobat and the fancied Manu Bhaker to win gold as India won all three medals in Women’s 25m Pistol at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in New Delhi.
The 23-year-old Chinki, who shot the second best qualification score of 580, was brilliant in the finals as she beat Asian Games gold medallist Rahi 4-3 in the shoot-off, after the two were tied 32-32.
Manu shot 28 to settle for the bronze in a field of 16 shooters. This was Manu’s fourth medal in the tournament.
Earlier in the qualification, Rahi shot the best score of 581 while Manu shot 576.
All three shooters have already bagged their quotas for the Tokyo Olympics.
