    National Shooting: Kiran Jadhav wins Gold in 50m Rifle Three Positions

    Kiran Jadhav and Niraj Kumar made it a one-two finish for Navy in the Men’s 50m Rifle Three Positions at the ongoing 64th National Shooting Championship (Rifle) in Bhopal.

    Kiran shot 455.7 (1172) to claim the top spot of the podium while team-mate Niraj shot 455.3 (1166) to win the silver. Bronze was won by the newly crowned Junior World Champion Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar of Madhya Pradesh with 444.4 (1183).

    The qualification topper Aishwary did make up for the disappointment, however, by claiming the junior title later in the day with 459.6 (1183). Avinash Yadav of Madhya Pradesh won the silver with 455.2 (1158) while Surya Pratap Singh Banshtu of Himachal Pradesh took the bronze with 440.4 (1164).
